Job description

This role is responsible for scheduling, planning and analysing Fleet Space's deployment projects of our physical equipment including Geodes, Satellites, HVSR and active seismic equipment to our clients sites across the Globe.Working in the Operation team, you will own the Master Client ​Delivery schedule which impacts forecasting and planning for manufacturing, logistic, client teams and finance. This work ​is currently been done in Google sheets, Smart Sheets and Looker Studio but we're looking for someone with the ​skills to make this a tidier, more automated ​environment with improved reporting functionality across departments.​Our HQ is based in Adelaide with hybrid working (our new facility next to ​the airport is due to open in August) but we are open to this role being based in other states of Australia.

Responsibilities

With a strong focus on process optimisation and cross-functional collaboration, this role will streamline scheduling workflows, improve forecasting accuracy, and support scalable systems for reporting, invoicing, and cost tracking.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

Master Client Delivery Schedule and Forecasting

  • Maintain and continuously improve the Master Client Delivery Schedule for all customer deployments.
  • Forecast supply and demand for all Multiphysics equipment, including Geodes, HVSR, Gravimeters, MT units, and active seismic equipment.
  • Integrate logistics planning into scheduling workflows to ensure timely and efficient equipment deployments.
  • Establish and maintain a cadence of schedule updates to Fleet’s operational partners around the world


Satellite Capacity Planning

  • Build and maintain satellite data scheduling and capacity forecasting, including for the Fleet Satellite Network (FSN) and other third party satellite networks.
  • Coordinate with internal satellite ops and external providers to align on transmission capacity needs and availability.

Reporting and Analytics

  • Build dashboards and reporting tools to compare forecast vs. actual deployment and satellite performance.
  • Generate actionable insights to inform Operations, Finance, Sales and Commercial teams.
  • Support data-driven decision-making and help monitor project performance indicators.

Process Optimisation and Automation

  • Streamline scheduling and reporting processes to reduce manual effort, duplication, and errors.
  • Automate recurring reports for external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Finance to link scheduling to revenue recognition and invoicing workflows.

Cost Tracking and Tier 1 Project Support

  • Support cost tracking and variance analysis related to customer deployment schedules.
  • Contribute to project schedule development for key Tier 1 programs, working alongside Project Managers and Technical Leads.

Job requirements

What we are looking for:- 3+ years experience in operations scheduling, project delivery support and data analytics within Mining, Mineral exploration, Civil Engineering or major Construction projects- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets, capable of connecting multiple data sources and advanced formula creation- Advanced Smart Sheets for Project Management- Advanced Looker studio for reporting and Dashboard creation- Experience in building and managing forecasting models- A high attention to detail, data accuracy is vital for this role- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a scale-up environment
