Job description

About The Role 🤔:

Web3 is transforming the way players and creators interact—and we're looking for a Product Designer who’s ready to lead this evolution. As the Product Designer, you'll work on some of Immutable’s most exciting 0–1 products, including Immutable Play and Audience Builder, helping to rapidly validate and launch player-first Web3 experiences.

This role is about bold experimentation. You’ll turn hypotheses into tangible insights and delightful product experiences at velocity. With opportunities on both the B2B or B2C side, your work will define what great looks like in the next generation of gaming.

In this role, you’ll drive the full spectrum of product validation and design: from quick conceptual sketches to polished prototypes—ensuring every design decision is grounded in real player feedback and data.

Responsibilities

You'll Be Empowered To 🎮:

  • Rapidly validate and launch player-first Web3 experiences from the ground up (0→1), including designing for products like Immutable Play.
  • Drive product validation through rapid experimentation—turning bold hypotheses into shippable insights quickly.
  • Generate and prioritize a robust experimentation backlog focused on commercial and player impact.
  • Apply behavioral design principles rooted in game psychology (e.g., variable rewards, status loops) to enhance retention and monetization.
  • Define and monitor product health metrics (e.g., CAC, LTV, engagement, conversion).
  • Operationalize AI in the design process—using generative tools to accelerate testing, simulate outcomes, and personalize player experiences.
  • Scale design impact through systems thinking and experimentation frameworks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to test, ship, and optimize player-facing features.

Job requirements

We'd Love You To Bring 🤝:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a Product Designer, ideally in consumer-facing, fast growing tech, or gaming products.
  • Proven track record working on 0→1 projects and designing from the ground up.
  • Proficient with tools such as Figma.
  • Experience with animation and motion.
  • Strong experience with data-driven design, including interpreting player metrics and product KPIs.
  • Hands-on experience with growth design and optimizing for business outcomes such as CAC, LTV, and conversion.
  • Deep fluency in behavioral design and understanding of how game mechanics drive engagement.
  • Comfort designing in lean, fast-paced environments, with a bias for shipping and iterating.
  • Evidence of metric impact through previous design experiments or product improvements.
  • Ability to operationalize AI in the design process, including using tools for generative testing and personalization.
  • Strong product thinking, especially within complex ecosystems like Web3 (bonus if familiar with token utility, marketplaces, or decentralized economies).Demonstrated self-awareness and ability to thrive amid ambiguity and evolution.

Bonus Points For ✅:

  • Experience in gaming or a strong interest in Web3
