Job description

About the Role

Qwilr is on the lookout for a Growth Engineer to help elevate our product onboarding and customer activation to a world-class level.

In this role, you’ll ideate, run, analyse and scale experiments that improve how new users experience and adopt Qwilr. You’ll join a newly formed Growth Squad focused on identifying opportunities, delivering end-to-end experiments and shortening the path to meaningful product engagement.

As a core member of the Growth team, you’ll work closely with Engineering, Design, Product and Marketing to improve the user journey - from trial signup to paid conversion. You’re equally comfortable shipping experiments and developing creative, customer focused solutions.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in the Growth team, you will:

  • Design, implement and scale experiments across signup, onboarding and activation that directly improve user adoption and conversion
  • Use product analytics and qualitative feedback to identify friction points and propose engineering-led solutions
  • Lead the technical implementation of growth experiments, from ideation to deployment, while ensuring reliability, scalability and clean code
  • Evaluate experiment outcomes, share learnings with the team and continuously refine hypotheses and approaches
  • Collaborate with design, marketing and engineering to align initiatives with Qwilr’s company strategy, growth objectives and product direction
  • Maintain a high standard of instrumentation and tracking to ensure we can measure what matters
  • Help champion a culture of iteration, testing and learning within the growth team and across the broader company

Job requirements

About you

A technically strong engineer with product curiosity and commercial instinct. If you get a thrill from spotting patterns in data or seeing your work drive real customer/revenue impact, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Full-stack capable: Comfortable working across React, Node, Typescript, and MongoDB. You can take a feature from concept to production
  • Experiment driven: You’re experienced in measuring impact, iterating based on data and ideally, ideating and instrumenting A/B tests
  • Commercially minded: You think in terms of business impact and customer outcomes, not just code
  • Creative problem solver: You enjoy finding elegant, unconventional ways to solve real user problems
  • Analytically sharp: You’re fluent in product analytics tools (e.g. Amplitude) and comfortable exploring behavioural data
  • Product and design-sense: You have opinions on what good looks like and you’re not afraid to share your opinion.
  • Low ego, high impact: You bias toward action, communicate clearly and motivated by shared goals.
