Job description

The Role 🥳

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who’s eager to build end-to-end features that truly move the needle for lawyers. You’ll work across the stack, own major architectural decisions, and help scale our systems to process 100,000-page case files in minutes.

You’ll collaborate with a team of former lawyers, product designers, and engineers to shape products from idea to impact—and measure success by how much better we make our users’ lives.

Your Impact 💥

  • Ship end-to-end features that solve high-value problems for legal teams
  • Design novel solutions with legal, product and design experts to tackle messy, ambiguous workflows
  • Scale intelligently – improve performance, reliability and throughput as our user base grows rapidly
  • Level up the team – shape engineering culture, processes, and technical direction

Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For 🧠

  • A proven track record of shipping production-ready systems, ideally in fast-moving environments
  • Strong coding ability in Python and TypeScript (or similar), with familiarity across cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
  • A bias for action – you move fast, keep PRs small, and use process as a tool, not a bottleneck
  • Bonus: Experience with LLMs, ML, or large-scale infrastructure

Job requirements

What We Value 🙏

  • Agency: You move decisively through ambiguity and take ownership end-to-end.
  • Taste: You have a sharp eye for quality across UX, product and engineering.
  • Craft Obsession – You’re energised by engaging with challenging problems and continuous improvement of both the team and the tech.

Why Join Us? 🌟

You’ll be working on three existentially hard, genuinely fun problem spaces:

  1. AI-powered UX – Turn cutting-edge AI into intuitive, delightful workflows for lawyers
  2. Scalable infrastructure – Index billions of facts, reduce processing times from hours to minutes and while riding our exponential growth
  3. Legal AGI foundations – Help design the systems that future legal AI will rely on for reasoning
