Job description

WHO YOU ARE

Hands-on by default

  • You write code, review code and unblock teams, not just whiteboard. Your PRs set the standard others follow.

Customer-first instinct

  • You build toward outcomes teachers and students actually feel, not tickets closed. You know the difference between done and done well.

Architecture that ships

  • You make the right structural calls without over-engineering. You balance long-term soundness with the reality of a fast-moving team.

Claude-accelerated delivery

  • You leverage Claude to move faster, write better code and help your team do the same. This isn't theoretical for you.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ACROSS

  • Adaptive UX — Build experiences tailored to how teachers and students actually work: interfaces that feel personal, responsive and genuinely useful.
  • Results System — Build the connective tissue between insight, recommendation and practice — the core of Edrolo's product vision.
  • AI feature integration — Bring LLM-powered capabilities to the surface in a way students and teachers can trust and actually use.
  • Platform foundations — Identify and close the technical gaps that slow the team down: reliability, observability and developer experience.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

  • Ship customer-facing features end-to-end, from design alignment through to production, with high craft and clear ownership
  • Lead architecture decisions across key product areas, making calls that the team can build confidently on for years
  • Embed Claude across the team's development workflow: tooling, habits and practices that compound over time
  • Define system design standards: APIs, data contracts, service boundaries and integration patterns across products
  • Mentor engineers through pairing and review, raising the technical floor without slowing the team down
  • Partner with product and design to scope and sequence work so the right things get built in the right order
  • Collaborate openly across a small, fast-moving team: share context early, surface blockers quickly and contribute to a culture where everyone knows what's happening and why
