The Role

We’re looking for our first Finance Operations and Systems Manager, a hands-on problem solver who brings clarity, control and scalability to Heidi’s finance systems and processes.

You will own our core finance platform built on Campfire, Stripe, Claude and our connected tools, removing manual work, strengthening controls and designing workflows that let teams move fast without breaking the data. From how revenue flows through Stripe, to how payroll hits the general ledger, to how numbers appear in leadership reporting, you are accountable for making the whole system work.

This role is for someone who loves systems ownership, measurable impact and solving hard problems at scale. You will build the foundations of how Heidi’s finance platform operates, from architecture and integrations to automation and controls, so the business can grow confidently on clean, reliable systems.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

  • Own the end-to-end finance systems landscape including Campfire (ERP), Stripe, payroll, expenses, CRM integrations, reporting and automation layers.
  • Design and continuously improve core processes including order-to-cash, revenue, payroll, AP, expenses, close and reporting.
  • Replace manual work, spreadsheets and fragile workflows with automated, well-controlled, well-documented processes while building standardised, global ways of working that operate cleanly across entities, currencies and regions.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation programs across Finance, Data People, RevOps, Product and Engineering.
  • Proactively identify risk, inefficiency and system fragility before it becomes a problem.
  • Identify and deploy automation and AI-enabled solutions (including Claude) to increase speed, accuracy and leverage across Finance.

Job requirements

What we will look for:

  • Proven experience owning or leading finance operations, systems or transformation in a fast-growing tech, SaaS or complex global business.
  • Deep understanding of how finance data flows end-to-end, from customer and employee activity through to the GL and reporting.
  • Experience implementing or running ERP, billing, payroll and finance platforms in multi-entity environments.
  • A track record of process redesign, automation and control in high-growth, high-change settings.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management, able to influence teams across the business.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure where none exists.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Stripe and subscription or usage-based billing.
  • Exposure to data platforms, analytics or AI-enabled finance tooling.
