Job description

The role

We have a big vision for Clove to empower home cooks globally, and we're at the ground floor. Our apps have been live for a little over two months, our community of home cooks and creators is growing and we're looking for a founding market to accelerate our growth.

In the role, you'll act as the bridge between our product and community team, and our users. You'll be a champion of Clove's mission, help us build scalable organic strategies to grow our community and play a hands on role across social, content creation, community growth, SEO and lifecycle marketing.

This is our first dedicated marketing hire. You’ll work directly with the founders, take big ownership of our growth strategy, while still being in the weeds — writing copy, making content, running experiments, and tracking results.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll

  • Own the full growth funnel - from acquisition across platforms to engagement, retention and reactivation.
  • Develop and execute our organic and product-led growth strategy.
  • Manage the tools and workflows that power our lifecycle marketing – including email, push notifications, and other direct channels.
  • Create clear, regular reports that help the whole team understand performance - and move faster on what matters.
  • Track what’s working (and what’s not), using tools like GA4, Amplitude, App Radar, Branch and more
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and content to tell Clove’s story in ways that drive real results
  • Own Clove’s voice across key channels - including Instagram, TikTok, email, and our community
  • Make high-performing lo-fi content for TikTok and Instagram (yes, that might mean being on camera)
  • Lead creator collaborations and help grow our early creator program
  • Write sharp, engaging copy across social, email, landing pages, and in-app moments

Job requirements

About you

You’re a creative, curious, and fast-moving marketer who gets energy from making things happen. You love content, you love strategy - and you don’t see them as separate.

You might be early in your career, or already senior - either way, you’re hands-on, thoughtful, and driven to help a product grow.

You:

  • Think like a builder - spotting growth opportunities and moving quickly to test them
  • Are excited to own the end-to-end growth funnel, and see patterns across channels, content, and cohorts
  • Have experience managing lifecycle marketing tools (email, push, WhatsApp, etc.) – or are keen to learn fast
  • Create clear reporting that helps teams stay focused and make smart decisions
  • Are confident using data and attribution tools to track performance and improve
  • Have strong instincts for storytelling, consumer behaviour, and what drives action
  • Have grown social accounts (especially TikTok or Instagram) and know how to make content that performs
  • Are excited to work with creators and know how to build genuine relationships
  • Are a clear writer and communicator who can craft great copy across channels
  • Use AI tools to move faster, write smarter, and do more with less
  • Thrive in fast-moving environments and love the challenge of building from scratch

  • You’ve worked in a consumer app, food, marketplace or creator-focused product
  • You know SEO
  • You’ve worked closely with a product or engineering team
  • You’ve helped launch or grow an app in the App Store or Play Store
  • You love to cook (or would like to learn 💚)
