The Opportunity

As Head of Dealership Sales – Australia, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and executing AutoGrab’s national dealer sales strategy. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will lead a high-performing team of Regional Sales Managers and be responsible for both the strategic direction and operational excellence of our dealer sales function.

This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who’s led national teams, thrived in tech or SaaS sales, knows the Australian dealer landscape inside out, and is driven to scale people, performance, and outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

You’ll be tasked with driving customer acquisition and retention, optimising the sales process, and building lasting relationships with key dealer partners across the country.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a high-impact national dealer sales strategy aligned with AutoGrab’s growth objectives
  • Lead, coach, and inspire a geographically distributed team of Regional Sales Managers
  • Drive performance against ambitious revenue and market penetration targets
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with major dealer groups and industry stakeholders
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle, ensuring efficiency, quality, and speed to close
  • Analyse sales data and market trends to inform decisions and uncover new opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Advocate for dealer needs within the business and ensure product-market fit at a national level
  • Represent AutoGrab at industry events and act as a visible leader within the automotive sales ecosystem

Job requirements

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience leading and scaling high-performing sales teams across Australia
  • Deep understanding of the automotive industry, particularly dealer operations and dynamics
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of exceeding revenue targets
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy while remaining hands-on where needed
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Experience using CRM and sales enablement tools to drive insights and performance
  • A collaborative leadership style with a focus on results, accountability, and continuous improvement
