The Role

We are looking for a hands-on, strategic VP of Product to lead and scale our product management function. You will work closely with subject matter experts and product managers across KYC, KYB, and fraud to bring consistency, process, and vision to the team. This is a key leadership role balancing strategic input with day-to-day execution, enabling us to ship better products, faster.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support our team of product managers across core areas (KYC, KYB, Fraud, and Platform)
  • Drive product development from discovery through delivery with strong process discipline
  • Establish and embed product best practices, including customer discovery, PRDs, OKRs, validation loops, feedback tracking, and agile delivery cadence
  • Own and evolve the product roadmap aligned with company goals and customer needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, GTM, and Customer Success to align on priorities and execution
  • Maintain a balance between technical fluency and commercial awareness to ensure what we build is feasible, scalable, and valuable
  • Ensure data-driven decision making and performance tracking across the product lifecycle
  • Act as a product evangelist internally and externally, including with customers, partners, and the board
  • Partner with the CEO and exec team to shape longer term product vision and strategic bets

Job requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 8+ years in product roles, including experience as a Head of Product, VP, or equivalent in a high growth SaaS or platform environment
  • Proven experience managing and growing PMs, ideally in regulated industries (fintech, crypto, identity, fraud, or compliance)
  • Strong product process mindset, with a focus on structure, clarity, and pace
  • Comfortable being hands-on and stepping into product specs, customer calls, or delivery meetings
  • Experience with API-first platforms or B2B2C models is highly desirable
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work across disciplines and balance competing priorities
  • Technical fluency, with the ability to work closely with engineering and understand how products are built
  • Commercial acumen, with a clear understanding of how product decisions impact business outcomes
  • Located in Australia (or willing to relocate), and able to work closely with teams in Melbourne, Sydney, and occasionally overseas
